La Vanoise 1825 Brides-les-Bains, Brides-les-Bains

I stayed at the Vanoise hotel in a cozy room at the back of the building with views from the balcony across the roof of the Amelie hotel to the mountains behind. The rooms were basic but comfortable, large, and clean. The service was professional, although there was an unexpected charge for a lock replacement. The hotel's location in the center of Brides-Les-Bains was fantastic, offering a great retreat after dinner and easy access to Meribel. The dining experience with a continental buffet was varied and plentiful. The facilities were convenient, particularly with a relaxing pool area. Overall, a decent value for money stay with friendly staff and a great setting.

The location is fantastic for a Summer trip around the French Alps, close to the Meribel ski areas.
